MAHA TET Notification 2026 Out
Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHA TET) is conducted to determine the eligibility of applicants for primary (Classes 1-5) and upper primary (Classes 6-8) teachers in schools within the state. MAHA TET Exam Date 2026 Out
The MAHATET examination consists of two papers, which shall be conducted on 21st June 2026 in two shifts (morning and afternoon). The shift timings for each paper are as follows-
- Paper 1 (for Classes 1–5): Morning Session- 10:30 am to 1:00 pm
- Paper 2 (for Classes 6–8): Afternoon Session- 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm

MAHA TET 2026 Application Fees

MAHA TET 2026 Exam Pattern
The MAHA TET 2026 exam consists of two papers, i.e., Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each paper is for 150 marks, and candidates are required to thoroughly check out the exam pattern for both papers before beginning their preparation for this state-level exam.
- In both Papers 1 and 2, there will be a total of 150 multiple-choice questions.
- For every correct answer, candidates get +1.
- For a wrong answer, no marks will be deducted.
- Both papers will be conducted for 2 hours and 30 minutes each.

MAHA TET Certificate Validity
The MAHA TET Certificate is awarded to candidates who successfully pass the examination with high scores. Possessing the MAHA TET certificate will qualify the candidate to work as a Teacher in Maharashtra schools.

- Open the official exam portal for Maharashtra State Board of Examination (MSCE), i.e., https://mscepune.in/
- Click on the “Candidate’s login” button available on the homepage.
- A drop-down menu opens up, tap on the “New Candidate Registration” button.
- Now, create a username and password. Then enter your full name, father’s name, mobile number, and email ID.
- Verify the OTP sent to the registered e-mail ID and mobile number.
- Now, go back to the login portal and enter the generated user ID and password.
- Here, enter all the relevant details, including your qualifications.
- Then, upload the photograph, signature, mark sheets, and other necessary certificates.
- Preview the MAHA TET Application Form 2026 and then pay the application fees.
